GDPR & Your Rights

Updated 7 September 2026

Your personal information

HGV Consult is a trading style of Saracen Commercial Contracting Limited. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use information, how long we retain it and when it is shared. This page explains how to contact us about your rights under UK data protection law.

Access and correction

You can ask for a copy of your personal information and ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete details.

Deletion and restriction

You can ask us to delete information or restrict its use in circumstances covered by data protection law. These rights are not absolute: some information may need to be retained for legal obligations or legal claims. We will explain any applicable reason for retaining it.

Objection and portability

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests because of your particular circumstances. You can object to direct marketing at any time.

Where the legal conditions apply, you can ask for information you supplied to be provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format or transferred to another organisation.

Withdrawing consent

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. CPC holders can email us to withdraw consent to retaining their details for opportunity contact. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before it was withdrawn.

How to make a request

Email hello@hgvconsult.com with enough information to identify your records and explain your request. No special form is needed. You may also write to the registered office listed on our Terms page.

We may need proportionate information to verify your identity before releasing personal information. Requests are normally free. We respond without undue delay and normally within one calendar month, subject to the rules on identification, clarification and permitted extensions. If more time is allowed for a complex request or multiple requests, we will explain why.

Concerns and complaints

Please contact hello@hgvconsult.com about how your information is handled. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
